Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

    Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

    When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

    Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,

    "Richness, can you take me with you?"

    Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

    Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"

"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

    Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."

    "Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

    Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

    Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder, Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"

    "It was Time," Knowledge answered.

     "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

     Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

     Well, to be frank, there's nothing more pleasant and relaxed to me than enjoying the treasurable weekend which only includes the Saturday afternoon and the whole Sunday.(As I still have to give class every Saturday morning from now on.) To be a teacher in Grade 9, one must have prepared well , physically and mind. Every day, there are a lot of things ahead of you ,waiting for you to finish, giving you no moments of even a short break or rest. I have to quicken the speed of my doing everything, the walk to and from , the lunch and the reading of a bunch of the students' homework. At this point, one and a half's weekend is especially important and necessary to me which means I can have a seldom 8-hour sleep on Saturday night and feel kind of refreshed the next morning.
     This Sunday morning, I just spent some time reading my blog friends' wonderful journals which again gave me a chance to know the passed two-month days of theirs and how they'are doing right now. I'm so gald that I can finally get in touch with them and know the new changes. Antonella has married and had a baby, Sherry has had a splendid holiday in California which immediately brought to my mind the famous song: Hotel California, making me envy her a lot cuz there's even no time for me to make a short travel in this summer holiday, devoting all my time and energy to the new-decorated house and the preparing work of our coming wedding. Anyway,  these are all behind me now and all I have to do is waiting for that big day to come on Oct.3.
    Just as the saying goes, life is definitely not a bed of roses. At the right moment, I just hope that I can get through the hard work , the relation between work and the family, the learning of cooking and many other trifles. Marriage are supposed to be a turning point in my whole life.

     Hello, everyone, I finally come back again after two-month busy summer holiday. I wonder if someone has missed me. hehe. The news term is definitely a busy one full of many new changes. My office has moved onto the 6th floor, I have to give 14-16 classes a week which means that I will have much less time for surfing the Internet and for my space. But I will try my best to keep it on.

    I just wanna say I miss you guys and I hope everything goes well.

     I seldom have insomnia at night but yesterday I spent a sleepless one in my dorm, thinking about what had happened in the day. The same pain has come again and caused me to feel emotionally anguished and hurtful.
    Every year, at the end of June, one or two days before the summer vacation, every teacher in this prestigious middle school will endure the same pain , the pain of hearing that again some teachers have been fired and losing some good colleagues and friends. Without any acceptable reasons, no one can figure out what the principal's intention is. Does she always decide everything only by her own like or dislike. Every one of them has been doing their duties as a responsible teacher. Someone has been working since graduation, devoted and diligent, with great passion and love for the teaching career and the lovely students. We are always told to love our students, but the boss herself who has been telling us about this idea seems merciless to us, giving us no respect and chance.
    There's a saying that TO ERR IS MAN. We people do make mistakes in such a long life course but why can't we be excused in this school. As soon as you  make a small mistake or do something out of her taste, you will leave a bad impression and you can never have the chance to let her like you any more. And one or two year later, she will find a whatever excuse to ask you to leave.
    Now in this school, there're fewer and fewer teachers that I 've known, more and more new faces that I've not seen before. It's such a pity to see all these old friends leave while you can do nothing to help. I don't know when there will be an end to all these, but what I'm sure is that they may have another new chapter in life and they will have my prayer always.
    Wish they good luck forever and I do miss them forever.

     I have recently browsed some of my friends' blogs and found that they all referred to the importance of the blogging, things are totally true with me. First of all, it gives me a great chance to meet so many great people and know about their life, knowing that despite the race, the country, we are mostly alike rather than different. Second, it helps me to put out my ideas more easily in English and  puts an end to my anguish about the decline of my English level. Third, it has already been my diary to keep a record of my life, in remind of what has happend in the past days. So I think I will try my best to keep up the good work.

   Actually it is the hot waves that finally caused me to write something today, in hope of getting those hot days recorded and remembered in my blog. The crammed dorm without an air conditioner has in fact been a stove or a sauna for over three days, which kept us three girls sweating and whining all the time. I can't figure out why a person like me who can't bear heat at all is willing to choose to stay instead of going home and enjoying the good service and treatment. Maybe in my bottom heart, I like going through pain with my pals , or enjoying the time with them, for cold or hot. Sometimes the outside bad condition seems not so unbearable if you have someone by your side. On top of that, I think maybe I consider this the seldom but good chance for me to challenge myself, to grow my ability of endurance and stability. I wonder if this will sound a bit weird to you guys, thinking it is totally a self-torture.(smile)

    I  just think it's time for me to blog here today and I do have to put up today's blog even though I have to rewrite what I have written a few minutes ago because of the slow net speed. Life is quite busy and hard for me now, as a headteacher before the long-waiting summer vacation in July. All I have to do during the whole day is to grade bunches of papers , write summary of each student on their paper records, and collect lots of cash as the students' tuition for the next term. So I have entirely become a machine which is busy reading papers, exercising books and doing the same job as a bank accountant.
    Life is also very annoyed and boring after work, without any change and excitement. Most of the time, I can still spent time reading, losing the track of time . Recently, I picked up a popular book named A Divorce in the Chinese Style.
